Alternative Collaborations partnered with Hope Stone Inc to establish an arts outreach program in New Orleans, LA. Alternative Collaborations is a collection of performance artists collaborating in an innovative and experimental environment that constructs “moving art” performances that reach out to both the traditional and non-traditional audiences, encourages community involvement in the arts; and supports Hope Stone Kids an arts outreach project that offers arts education, fitness and wellness classes to the at-risk children in New Orleans resulting in increased self-esteem, pride and confidence.
