Welcome Marian!
Kid’s Play NOLA is very excited to welcome Marian Blair, our new intern! Marian will be in charge of our social network, all websites from facebook to twitter. Find us and be our friend! Soon, you should be able to click a link on the blog. I gotta get her to teach me how to do it first!
I am so happy Marian is going to be helping out. She is also a new comer to New Orleans, but has so much passion for the arts. I was totally impressed by her enthusiasm for KP NOLA and all her talents. Be sure to check out her website. Marian is an artist, teacher and illustrator from Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2009 with a degree in Illustration and Art History. She received the Project Open Door Arts Education Fellowship in Providence, Rhode Island, and was awarded a grant from the Alabama State Council for the Arts to work with Space One Eleven’s education programs. She loves to integrate technical art instruction with the development of artistic voice and student collaboration. She is very excited to be working with Dane Reed and Kid’s Play Nola.
